Clean and healthy teeth are our number one goal for every patient. During your free consultation, your dentist will check your teeth and gums for signs of tooth decay or gum disease.
If you need treatment to get your teeth brace-ready, we can book you in with our team, or you can return to your general dentist.
Most patients are ready to get started straight away. Your first appointments will include your free hygiene session and a digital scan of your teeth and jaws.
Healthy teeth, beautiful smile
We’ll schedule your hygiene appointment before your scan so we can get the most accurate images of your teeth to ensure your aligners fit perfectly. You’ll already be familiar with our iTero scanner – we include a scan at every consultation to show you a preview of your new smile.
During your hygiene appointment, your clinician will use the latest techniques to remove any traces of plaque or tartar to leave your teeth feeling and looking their best. We’ll give you advice on how to brush effectively and keep those hard-to-reach areas clean.
It’s essential to look after your teeth and gums during your Invisalign treatment – luckily, Invisalign makes this incredibly easy. You can remove your aligners to brush and floss as normal. Just make sure you clean your teeth before popping your aligners back in.
Extra hygiene sessions
If you opt for our Diamond package, your Invisalign treatment will include a second complimentary hygiene session.
We recommend regular dental health checks and hygiene appointments throughout your treatment. Your orthodontic check-ups aren’t a substitute for dental health checks – where your dentist will be fully focused on the health of your mouth.
