What does Invisalign treatment include?

Our Invisalign prices and packages include everything you need to straighten your teeth and maintain your amazing new smile.

Your free Invisalign consultation

Your Invisalign treatment will begin with a free 45-minute consultation. During your consultation, you’ll receive a complimentary dental health check with one of our senior dentists. We’ll examine your teeth and gums, take photos and up-to-date X-rays of your teeth, and even show you a preview of your new smile using our digital iTero scanner.

We’ll give you all your treatment options and a personalised quote, as well as information on our payment options, including interest-free finance.

What does your Invisalign quote include?

Your quote will include every step of your treatment, from your 3D scans to your retainers.

Hygiene appointment

Before we take scans of your teeth, you’ll receive a thorough scale and polish from one of our meticulous hygienists. This helps us to take accurate impressions and ensures that your teeth are in tip-top condition.

Your first hygiene session is included in the cost of your braces. You can upgrade your treatment package to enjoy extra hygiene appointments throughout your treatment.

Invisalign ClinCheck

If you’ve worn braces before, you may remember your orthodontist taking impressions of your teeth using a gloopy substance called alginate. Thankfully, we can now do the same thing using a quick and convenient digital scanner.

Invisalign takes your scans and creates a 3D treatment plan using its innovative ClinCheck software. You’ll be able to see how your teeth should move during your treatment, and most importantly, your projected outcome.

Check-ups and adjustments

We include all your check-up appointments within the cost of your Invisalign treatment. After we’ve fitted your first set of aligners, we’ll see you every 6–12 weeks to check your progress. Sometimes we’ll make small adjustments to your teeth or aligners at these appointments.

Invisalign attachments and IPR

During your treatment, we may need to attach tooth-coloured Invisalign buttons to your teeth, to help us achieve precise movements. They’re very discreet and easily removed once they’ve worked their magic.

Most patients also need interproximal reduction (IPR) before or during treatment, to ensure the best possible result. IPR involves removing small amounts of enamel from between your teeth to create extra space.

Emergency appointments

Your treatment should go without a hitch, but if you have any problems or concerns, contact us as soon as you can. If you need to come in and see us, we’ll schedule an emergency appointment at no extra cost.

Retainers

If you’re shopping around for your Invisalign treatment, make sure your quotes include retainers. They’re vital for keeping your smile straight, and without them, your teeth are likely to return to where they started.

All our Invisalign packages include clear, removable retainers (which look a lot like Invisalign aligners), and you can upgrade your treatment to include fixed retainers, too. These attach behind your teeth for extra peace of mind. You’ll need to wear your retainers indefinitely and replace them when they wear out.

Home teeth whitening

So many of our patients request teeth whitening that we now include it as standard. You’ll receive a professional whitening kit to brighten your smile from the comfort of home.

We usually recommend waiting until the end of your treatment to whiten your teeth, but if you don’t have any Invisalign attachments, there’s nothing to stop you doing it mid-treatment.

Home teeth whitening can provide the same great results as in-clinic teeth whitening; they just take slightly longer to achieve, giving you more control over the shade of your smile.

Teeth shaping

Another finishing touch we include for every patient is teeth contouring (shaping). This involves painlessly reshaping your teeth by removing tiny amounts of enamel. Not everyone needs shaping, but if your teeth are slightly misshapen or asymmetrical, it can make a big difference.

What doesn’t Invisalign treatment include?

Before we can start any orthodontic treatment, your teeth need to be healthy. If you need treatment for tooth decay or gum disease, we’ll quote for this separately, or you can have this carried out by your general dentist.

The same applies to any general or cosmetic dental treatments you may need during or after your braces. Otherwise, everything’s included!
