Veneers consist of a thin layer of porcelain, which fits over your natural tooth, disguising imperfections such as staining and crowding.
They can be used to treat a wide range of problems – achieving dramatic results in a very short time.
They are best suited to problems that concern the appearance of your teeth, for example, severe staining or misshapen teeth.
If your teeth are simply crowded but in good condition then invisible braces may provide a better long term solution.
Before we fit your new veneers we may need to remove some of your natural tooth material, otherwise, your end result could look and feel bulky. To minimise this preparation work we use ultra-thin porcelain veneers.
Porcelain helps to ensure a natural result and durability that rivals your own teeth. Your veneers will be handcrafted for you. You can come and see them being made in our state-of-the-art ceramic studio, and they won’t be fitted until you’re completely happy.
Once your veneers have been fitted, you can treat them just like your own teeth – they’ll be impossible to tell apart. But, like your own teeth, they can be damaged; so be sure to look after your new smile, and avoid bad habits like opening bottles with your teeth. A benefit of veneers is that they’re more resistant to staining than natural teeth.
