Invisalign is a popular clear orthodontic brace that has transformed the smiles of 6 million patients since its launch in 1999.
It straightens teeth using custom-made removable aligners. Each set of aligners is worn for two weeks, gradually moving your teeth little-by-little towards your end goal.
Over the last decade Invisalign has become one of our most requested braces, providing patients with an appealing alternative to metal brackets and wires.

Comparing the cost of Invisalign
Most patients like to shop around before choosing an Invisalign provider. While price is an important consideration, there are other things you should bear in mind when making your decision. Here are some things you may want to think about when you’re doing your research.
1. The experience of your Invisalign provider
Speak to your clinician about their Invisalign experience. They should be happy to share with you how many cases they’ve completed, as well as patient testimonials and before and after photos. Unbiased online reviews, for example Google+ reviews, are also a great way to research potential providers.
2. Availability of appointments
Make sure your provider can offer you appointments at a time that suits you. Not every practice will offer evening and weekend appointments.
3. Types of Invisalign
There are a few different Invisalign braces to choose from: Invisalign Comprehensive, Invisalign Express, Invisalign Lite and Invisalign Teen. Your clinician will be the best person to decide which option is right for you, but if your case is quite mild you may want to check whether they offer the Express and Lite options.
4. Choice of retainers
Most, but not all, providers will offer you the option of fixed and/or removable retainers at the end of your Invisalign treatment. Retainers are a vital part of your treatment – they’re responsible for keeping your teeth straight – so make sure they are included in any quotes that you compare.
5. Finance options
If you’re looking to spread the cost of your treatment, most practices will be able to offer flexible finance packages. At Sensu we offer interest-free finance options that allow you to divide the cost of your treatment over a number of months.
